All that is CRAFTING! (lots of photos)

I made this mermaid Dotee doll for my partner on Swap-bot! Isn't she sweet! All sparkly and ready for a dip in the ocean! It was fun to make, but these little cuties take me over 2-3 hours to make. I really try hard to make their personalities pop!
These are my Black and White w/a touch of red ATC's series. Also for a swap. I did quite a few of these! Here are the rest.

Button ATC series.

Fantasy ATC series! I loved all the glitter I used here. I am so glad that I am now taking photos of my art!

Another Pin-up Girls ATC series.

And I joined in Speckle Egg's Nest swap!

My partner was Jackie over from Wren's Nest! And what a lovely partner she was!
Go check out her blog Wren's Nest!
Here is what I made her!

Isn't this darling! Here is what Jackie made and sent me! I adore that little guy!
(borrowed image from Jackie's site)

I was also in this swap:

We had to make 11 items and send them to our hostess. She then in turn would collect from all 11 people and send off our care package. Chuck-full of goodies! Here is what I received!

Last but not least, here is what I made for the Hippity Hoppity Swap!
Vintage Easter Magnets!

Just wanted to share with you what I have been up too. While I have been out sick from work, at least keeping my hands busy even though I had to keep my feet up! LOL!
With much love,

I hope illness has departed your house. This has been a challenging year for lots of people in terms of sickness. Not fun for anyone!

You have indeed been ever so busy but look at all the wonderful things. Your pictures are a delight and I'm so impressed with all the creativity behind each and every thing. Your swap recipients are going to love you forever.

I hope you are feeling better and that your "trunks" are getting smaller...

Your art work is AMAZING!! I love crafts and scrapbooking but have not had time to indulge, one of these days...

I am going to dust off the sewing machine and make a rag quilt for a friend who is having a baby. I would like to make one for each grandchild, but that will take a while, with having so many!!

Well, today I am subbing for high schoolers that do not to want to be in their classrooms so they are in I.S.S. (in school suspension), so I must keep them in line, ha, ha. I will be at the Salon tomorrow and Friday, swing by for a trim...
Oh, yea, Thursday I will be with Kindergartener's, hopefully I will still be sane,LOL.

Again, Great Post!!

Hugs and love,
Debbie

p.s.
Am worried about CSI, have we scared him off?

Robyn, your crafts are wonderful. You're so much more diversified in your craftiness than I am--it's really making me want to try some new things. Your ATCs are so neat, and I loooove that mermaid dotee. But it's all beautiful. I'm darned impressed!

Honey can we get invited to the swaps too? I like this. A lot!!! Love the magnets. Where did you get those things? Love everything. Were'd you get everything? I'm so impressed. You are one creative lady, even with two bum legs. Adore the pin ups. They're too beautiful. I had a dream about a Dotee doll last night and know exactly what I want to make, now just have to find the time. If I'd stop blogging, I could. Wish me luck.

Love you honey. XO

Goodness, how do you find time to craft, nurse, blogg, clean house, walk to Dog, walk the 5 k and still have time for yourself? I'm a mother of two and I don't get that much crafting done. Actually, I still have a painting half finished that has been sitting in my dinning room since Jan. Perhaps I need to lay off the blogging. tootles.

Read one of your comments today on another blog. Just want you to know I love you and you're a 'real' friend. That's for sure. I'm confident you'll agree.

If you have time, visit Kylie's blog for a different take on the same article. I read it right after being at Brian's and nearly died! Brian's sort of hurt me, but her's made me feel all puffy with pride. Obviously, I feel more like she does. Take the time to read it, she won't disappoint you.

Life is interesting, isn't it sweetie? Thank God for crafts! How would women have coped through the centuries without something to do with their hands. I love you Robyn, and after reading your comment I know you're hurt. I want you to page down a few posts and listen to the "Hugs Video." Then I want you to imagine me giving you the biggest one. Meeting you has been one of the highlites of my life. I wouldn't have missed blogging for the world. And I'm not going anywhere because this is a 'good thing.' I agree with Martha! Martha's richer, smarter and has one hell of a lot more books on the shelf at B&N and loves to blog. If she can multitask, so can the rest of us (but on a somewhat more normal basis because we aren't all superwomen!). I love you honey. You know that. Oh course I'm crying, but you know that too.

XO

P.S. Yes, I'm up late. I was sleeping perfectly until the kitties went crazy and decided to play. Good Lord! Now I'm up and they're all sleeping. Rascals.

I love you,
XO

Hi again Robyn! Hope you're doing really well. I made a deal with myself--if I get a good amount of work done on my school stuff, I get to make a Dotee! I'll post pictures if it's at all pic-worthy...

xo,

Leah
