I have been really, really, really SICK! Yuck!

Hello all my dear blogger friends! I am SO SORRY that I have not been on here and have not shown you all my lovely photos of my birthday! Especially the lovely BLOGGER surprise flowers, hand carried by no other than 'our' dear Suzanne...Suze for short!
Unfortunately, the Saturday of my Scrapbook Retreat I started to get sick, I thought something simple as a sore throat. BOY! Was I wrong, by the time I drove to Monterey (Ca.). on Sunday, I had a temp of 102! Yep...I was sick! By Monday...well let's just say I thought I had walking pneumonia!! Couldn't breath...Jim took me to a local clinic...more like dragged me to it! I felt like death warmed over. The Doc in the box decided I didn't have walking pneumonia but a VERY, VERY cold/cough. NO PRESCRIPTION to fix this. Just good ol'fashion...getting tucked in, staying warm, lots of cough syrup and other over the counter meds. I put myself into a self medicated coma! And I didn't want to wake up until I was better! I am back at work, getting better by the minute!
I just wanted to post quickly and let everyone now, that I have some screwed up work schedule...one day on/one day off/one day on. I truly do think they are trying to kill me off...yes, I think it a conspiracy!
I love you all *hack...hack* (don't get to close...still not 100%)but getting back to my ole' self. Shortly I will post all the lovely photos of happier days!
And I will thank you all properly! Love and miss you all! I will be back soon! I promise...no cold is holding me down to long! LOL!
With much love,

Robyn! So sorry you've been sick, and especially that it made you miss your special weekend. I know it's miserable, especially with a fever. Glad to hear you're getting better--

xoxo Leah

I can finally exhale. You're here and you're okay. Well, sort of! I hope you feel better very soon.

The way you describe the symptoms remindes me of my flu. Remember? The flu starts off with a horrible sore throat and then tries very hard to settle in your lungs. Well, cold, flu, it's all awful. I'm just glad you're on the road to recovery. And I love the photo! Too precious.

God I've missed you. It's wonderful to hear your voice again. I'm sorry to hear about work. It sounds as if you're being retaliated against for that little disagreement a few months ago. Hang in there. I know it's difficult. Can you transfer to a different department or get help from the Union again? I hope it all works out because stress on the job is a terrible thing. Speaking of which, how are your logs (word association...I believe the stress of your job caused you to start haulin' logs!).

God I love you to death. I'm so glad you're back and didn't decide to leave us forever. I started to worry you know. :*(

I've gotta run baby. Tomorrow's a big day at Rose Cottage and I'm trying to prepare for it today (for further details go to my blog ~~ in addition to the dog, both Ohno and Hopper go to the Vet's at 5:30 ~~ Ohno because I discovered a lump on his right hind thigh and Hopper because he was in a fight with a neighbor's cat and has a horrendous limp. No honey, the excitement never ends here!). I'm in the middle of putting new ends on all the hoses and have never done it before and can't find instructions in any of my books or on the internet, so I'm just going to wing it. Snip, insert, tighten bolt, turn on water and hopefully not watch that sucker blow off like a &^%#$* %^(*$#. I'll give you the full report of my success (or not) when I have more time!

Love you honey. Sorry you didn't get to go on your retreat. Perhaps you just needed to stay home and smell the roses. Literally and figuratively!

Love to all,
Me XOXOXOXO

P.S. Boy do you have A LOT of catching up to do. Leah has a new hamster, Cece, Bindi and Skeeter made it through another tornado, etc. The list goes on and on. Good luck with that!

I wondered where you have been! I had to put Dakota down. It was heartbreaking. Fevers really bring me down. I hope you are taking care of yourself!

Ooh :( What a bummer to go and get sick ! and on your Birthday Scrapbook Retreat! I see that you're 'back in harness' at work. What a lousy work roster. I recommend whiskey - for medicinal purposes only of course!
GET WELL SOON
Love,
Mark XO
