And this is what I end up feeling like...

Well blogger friends...you all were probably wondering where the heck I've been! Right?! Here I am working my tail off in the office! I tell you I really have to force myself out of bed every morning to get to my job. I swear, I would rather get my teeth pulled than go into work. The above photo is just one peek into my fabulous job. I suppose you could call me a computer geek, spending close to 10 hours a day at the desk, typing away. Placing doctor orders in, so patients can get the right meds to make them better. HEY! What about sharing! Yes...the go-to girl would love a nip of the ol'dilaudid. To make the day go faster.

Let's not digress shall we...back to moaning and bitching about one's job! No respect, no glory! Heck! Not even a damn THANK YOU. Would it be so hard to once in a while throw the little people a bone of gratitude once in a while. I really don't trust or even really like anyone for that matter. But, I plaster on a smile and poise myself at the desk to look like I am ready for the day. The whole time begging for a earthquake to shimmy one side of the building, so that it is damaged beyond repair....ok *packing up desk* I am out of here pronto! Oh...to wonder over to some wonderful beach with a great book. And just hear the surf...instead of listening to a army of phone calls (almost 750 calls a day).Just some form of ESCAPE! Something...almost anything! It is enough to drive a girl to the drink. I have become best buds with Jack,Jim,Jose!

On a lighter note...I have also been preparing for a Scrapbook Retreat. Since, my birthday falls on a Wedesday (April 16th) I am celebrating by treating myself to this retreat! It is 2 nights and 3 days. I can't wait to dive right into all the clever things the hostess's have got planned! Getting things put together and deciding what I want to make and bring....I know the pressure of it all!

The Owners/Hostesses who are putting on Retreat!

My second home, Jim calls it! I have invested a ton in this store! A TON!

And tooboot, my baby nephew is horribly sick (poor baby) so I have been over there every spare minute to help out where I can.

Things are going well, well almost well. I will have not seen Jim in 3 weeks by the time he comes home! If you see a sock...don't come a knocking! *evil grin*
Love to you all! And it just really warms my heart that some of you really missed me and I read all the warm fuzzies! I adore all of you to bits!
With much love,

WELCOME BACK!!! Thought you were a gonner for sure. Sorry to hear about work, the baby and Jim. Good news...work probably won't kill you, the baby will get well and Jim will come home. Also, semi-good news...I almost won a pair of socks at Leah's. She held a contest and all you had to do was write about a favorite food! The winner would get a pair of hand knit socks. Unfortunately her knitting buddy won (I was robbed! Couldn't here knitting buddy just knit her own?). If I'd won I would have shared one with you to hang on the flag pole or on your door knob. It would have looked so pretty, but I didn't win, so you won't be getting one. That's why it's semi-good news.

It's a beautiful day, as you know, so I'm running in and out of the house trying to do yard work. I'm so far behind with blogging b/c I've been ill this past week, but slowly starting to feel better and catch up. I'll talk to you soon.

Have a wonderful weekend and a beautiful mini vacation scrapping.

Love you and missed you terribly!

Well Robyn, you could do what I did and find a new job. But then again, there is an adjustment period there. And most Doctors are well... Assholes. I know because I deal with them too. I am glad you are O.K. I hope the baby gets better soon, I hope you get a raise, and I hope you see Jim soon.

Hi Robyn,
It sounds like you've had a rough week. Hope this will cheer you up...I put your package in the mail yesterday so you should have it by Monday or Tuesday. I will post pictures on Monday so don't go to my blog if you don't want to spoil the surprise! Have a fun weekend. I'm going to a Victorian Tea this afternoon and I'm looking forward to that.

Yea, I finally get to see you post. I have missed ya girlie but then I too have been absent and had alot going on.

Wish we lived closer we could both use a stiff drink about now. I know I could. We would be able to share horror stories together. So unfair that lives have to be crazy and babies sick.

You hang in there sweet Robyn as life will get better or at least that is what I am telling myself. Miss ya girlie and hope to hear from you again soon. Take care and hang in there praying for ya my friend. Big ((((HUGS)))) to ya.

Good morning! Happy Monday. It's a bit overcast, but after yesterday's heat, I'm grateful.

When you have a chance visit my blog. I wrote after you commented. Perhaps it will help. Two more things: email your address and also let me know if you're going to be home on your birthday (and this week in general ~ cuz you may get a delivery!!!)

I'm hoping Jim will be home to help celebrate your birthday. If not, stop by the Cafe and we'll watch the bartender dance then go to the Vegas Room with the girls ~~ where everyone's a winner!!!

Love you honey. Hang in there.
XO

We have been looking for some acreage. We have always wanted a log cabin in the woods. We found 4.5 acres not too far out of town with huge pine trees on it. It is perfect with a pond and everything. We finally made an offer that the Seller's accepted, so we will be closing on the deal in about three weeks. I am hoping to get out there this weekend and take some photos of the land to show everyone my prime real estate. I am glad that my comment helped put a bright sunny spot in your day. I am sorry you have had to deal with so much Shit. Here have a pair of hip wadder boots, and a shovel. It might help. Well, got to get the kiddos ready for bed. Night, night, and Happy early Birthday!!!!

Where the hell are you? I drove all the way to Elk Grove to deliver flowers and a card from the "Gang," and you've yet to appear. Which of course means that gorgeous bouquet is still at the front door! Missy, you better make an appearance soon or I'm talkin' only to Jim. Happy Birthday.

Suzanne said...

Oh, I put wet paper towels over the roses to keep them fresh, which means they're dry by now and probably smothering the crap out of the poor roses. Come on honey. Give me a break. I'm dyin' here. I didn't arrange the bouquet for the front door woman.

Suzanne said...

Alright, that's enough. I'm coming back down tomorrow and I'm stopping by the office. I'll have my feral kittie get up on, but who cares, we're friends! Just overlook a lot! I'll stop by the house and give the bouquet some water. Come on honey...work with me sista.

OMG! You are so funny with those pictures!! I LOVE art retreats - it gives me a chance to just get away and be "Maija" for a few days.
I hope you first evening back with your hubby was grand!

Suzanne said...

Are you back yet?! Hope the weekend was beautiful and you're well rested. I also hope you have lots and lots of "goodies" to show us.

Hope some of the roses survived for you to still enjoy. Probably not because I picked them the wrong time of day and most I picked fully open. At least you have the memory.

Love you my dear,
Suze XO

Where is my favorite killer of a front yard tree!? God, it took like 5 minutes to write that damn sentence correctly. I have Ohno draped over my arm and he isn't making typing easy. Honey, when you have time go to my blog. Something pretty is waiting for you and also go to the Cafe ~ Cielo is holding a Dessert Carnival and you can read about it at the Wild Onion, then visit her blog too. Bindi's already entered her little number, and we just have to follow her lead.

Love ya baby. Drinks are on me at the Cafe. See you there. Just don't come in fast, swing the saloon door and flatten me like a pancake. That happened last time and I'm still seeing that cukoo bird flying around my head.

XO

P.S. Hey Jim!
